Students take non-credit classes for many reasons: to improve English skills, to earn a high school diploma or prepare for the GED exam, to brush up on workplace skills, to earn specialized certificates, and to experience the satisfaction of learning something new. Non-credit courses are tuition-free. However, students are expected to buy books, supplies, and occasionally additional materials.
Registration for non-credit classes is a paper process handled in the Admissions and Enrollment Office, room 110. Students can enroll during the regular registration period. It is also possible to join non-credit classes well into the semester. For more information and help choosing classes, you can speak to a counselor, the course instructor, or staff in the Admissions and Enrollment Office.
