About Mathematics

Mathematics is the language of the universe.

With a degree in maths you will be able to unlock the mysteries of the world around you! You will develop your critical thinking skills and your ability to approach problems in countless disciplines ranging from epidemiology to astronomy, from cryptography to finance.

A degree in maths from CCSF will serve as excellent preparation for upper division coursework in Mathematics at any four year university.

Students who complete the degree are guaranteed acceptance to a Cal State University, though not a particular campus or major.
