Elementary Sign Language
This is a course for the student with no prior or minimal skills in and knowledge of AMSL. The course is designed primarily to develop the students' receptive skills in functional settings. Everyday communication emphasizing vocabulary, syntax, and fingerspelling to enable students to communicate with Deaf individuals in a culturally appropriate manner.

Continuation of Pre-Advanced Mandarin Chinese for Bilinguals
Intensive training in written and spoken Mandarin with emphasis on reading, speaking, and composition. Increased linguistic ability in both English and Chinese are used as a basis for increasing vocabulary and enhancing reading and writing skills through short stories, poems, essays and compositions. Pre-advanced training in written and spoken Mandarin.
Advanced Mandarin Speaking
Extensive oral training in advanced Mandarin. Emphasis on advanced expressions and idiomatic usage. Designed for students who wish to continue acquiring skills of spoken Mandarin at an advanced level rather than formal grammar and literature.
Pre-Advanced Mandarin Chinese for Bilingual Students

Introductory course in Russian grammar, composition and reading. Practice in speaking, writing, and understanding Russian and introduction to Russian culture.
Advanced French: Conversation on French Literature and Culture
Readings in and discussion of French literature and culture. Extensive oral interaction and composition to build analytical vocabulary, improve sustained discussion, and express ideas in a more natural manner.
