American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with AED certification course. Instruction and practice in the identification and the care of cardiac arrest and choking in adults, children, and infants. AHA BLS Provider cards issued for those who meet competency standards.
EMT 12 requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Friday, July12, 2024, from 8:10am to 12:30pm and 1:00pm to 5:30pm at the John Adams Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. Students should wear comfortable clothing for the in-person meeting and bring their AHA Certificate from their online training. This class is part of CityOnline.
