A critical analysis of the public health status of transgender and nonbinary populations. The course will provide introductory knowledge, skills, and resources to work effectively in health and social service settings with transgender and nonbinary clients and communities.
This class requires one mandatory live online meeting and the use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Live online meetings take place on Monday: 2/24 from 5:10pm-6:30pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 4 weeks.
