Study of the role of parents/guardians in the healthy development of children from birth through adolescence. Emphasis on building positive relationships with children in the areas of bonding, attachment, self esteem, family dynamics, age-appropriate expectations and the importance of positive communications. Fulfills court-mandated parent education requirements.

Emphasis on building positive relationships with children in the areas of bonding, attachment, self esteem, family dynamics, age-appropriate expectations and the importance of positive communications.This class meets court mandated parenting requirements by the Human Services Agency and Child Protective Services. It also serves as verifiable coursework that supports the development of positive parenting strategies, especially for parents and guardians in need of parent education courses
