Advanced content for administrators and directors in effective administration, supervision and management of early childhood programs. Emphasis will be on financial management, governance, data-based decision making, and human relations. In CDEV 89, students apply knowledge learned in CDEV 90 re childcare program management, (e.g., operating budgets, regulatory agencies and licensing regulations, role of the program director) as they examine and discuss the impact of regulations and standards on program quality. Students create an action plan to improve management & leadership and level of quality of a childcare program. They need to know accepted management practices and indicators of quality management of childcare programs. Students learn how to lead, manage, and evaluate personnel and program services. Prerequisites: CDEV 90 and 91
