This course is an introduction to the principles of youth development and significant health issues affecting today's youth. The course focuses on strategies and skills to engage and involve young people in their own decision-making and advocacy.
HLTH 65 - Sec G91 is part of a CDC-funded project to train health workers in Sonoma County. Enrollment is restricted for the first month of registration. This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
