Reference, communication, teamwork, resources, and technology competency for library support staff working in special libraries and information centers. Surveys need and use of specialized information for personal, corporate, or academic use from print and online resources in a variety of special libraries. Types of special libraries covered in this course will vary by semester.
This class requires the use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Students will complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device.
