This course supports students in enhancing key professional skills essential for success in internship placements and on the job. It addresses priority professional concepts, skills, and behaviors for students enrolled in the Community Mental Health Certificate and Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist course of study.
This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on select Thursdays: 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4 from 5:10 – 7:00pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 6 weeks.
