Preparation for the computer-adaptive examination used by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) to verify cognitive competency of a basic level Emergency Medical Technician. This course assists students with test-taking skills on scenario-based exams.
This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Live meetings will be 4/19, 4/26, 5/10, and 5/17/24. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 6 weeks. PREREQ: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in: EMT 100 or equivalent course work at another college
