Catalog Description
Introductory course on the roots, prefixes, suffixes, and abbreviations used to form and define medical terminology. The systems based terminology covers anatomy, vocabulary, disease states, diagnostic procedures, laboratory findings and standard pharmaceuticals.

This class requires live online meetings that take place on Tuesdays 5:10 - 8:00 pm. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17.5 weeks.
