A primer course for GIS technology. History, structure, uses, and current trends of GIS, related fundamental concepts, basic query, and cartography operations using industry-standard ESRI's ArcGIS software.
Section Notes
GEOG 110 includes optional in-person lab meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Saturdays from 10 am – 3 pm at Chinatown/North Beach Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
