Catalog Description
A first course in high school geometry. Topics include point, lines, and planes; classification of angles; triangles and the Pythagorean theorem; classifications of polygons; perimeters and areas of polygons; circumference and area of circles; surface areas and volumes of three-dimensional shapes.
Section Notes
This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15 pm – 6:45 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
