Catalog Description
Development of speaking and argumentation skills through participation in intercollegiate speech and debate tournaments. Course repetition allows mastery of communication skills through the recursive process of researching, writing, practicing, and delivering speeches.
Section Notes
This is a 16-week class with in-person meetings on Tuesday afternoons at the Ocean Campus. Students will participate in practice debates and compete in tournaments. For more details about the class, students can check the instructor website.
