Designed for students pursuing the Community Health Worker Certificate who are interested in working with communities in the areas of nutrition education, food security, and justice. HLTH 85 - Sec G91 is part of a CDC-funded project to train health workers in Sonoma County. Enrollment is restricted for the first month of registration. This section requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on select Thursdays: 2/1, 2/15, 2/29, 3/14, 3/28, 4/25, 5/9, 5/16 from 5:10 – 8:00pm. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is weeks.
