A consideration of the humanistic tradition of China and the major achievements of Chinese culture as reflected in language, literature, art, craft and daily life. Taught in Chinese.

This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on Thursdays from 12:10 pm – 1 pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks. For course details, students must check the instructor's website.

Recommended Preparation, CHIN 14C or CHIN 31A or CHIN 31B or demonstration of CHIN 14C or CHIN 31A or CHIN 31B exit skills or oral fluency in at least one Chinese dialect including standard Mandarin
