This course covers the historical development of the Philippines from the pre-colonial period to present day. The evolution of national culture, political and social institutions, and foreign relations will also be examined.
This class is part of CityOnline and has a shorter semester (16 Weeks). HIST 37-Sec 981 requires live online meetings (zoom) and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on Thursdays from 11:10 am - 12:25 pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device.
