First laboratory course in a calculus-based four-semester sequence. Core topics include experiments in kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, rotation, and oscillations.
This class requires in-person meetings for exams and the use of Canvas. Students need to attend a mandatory orientation session on Zoom on 08/14 (Time will be decided based on a class poll) In-person meetings will take place on Thursday 10/12 and Thursday 12/07 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM on the Ocean Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. A laptop computer or desktop computer is required for this course.
