Data sources, types and interpretation; descriptive statistics; probability theory; discrete and continuous probability distributions; sampling distributions; confidence intervals; hypothesis tests; nonparametric statistics; simple linear regression analysis; computer-based statistical analysis.
Econ 5 (001) is a 17.5 week in-person course that meets on Ocean campus. Some assignments will require the use of Canvas to access course materials, submit assignments, and/or receive instructor feedback. Students will need access to an internet enabled device.
