This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks long. BIO 132-Sec 931 has no scheduled in-person meetings and requires the use of Canvas. All coursework is completed on Canvas using an internet enabled device. WileyPLUS of Grosvenor and Smolin Visualizing Nutrition: Everyday Choices 5th Edition is required for this course. All enrolled students are automatically enrolled in Follett Access, which allows WileyPLUS access through Canvas. Students will be billed $65 to their student account. Students can opt out of Follett Access, but will then be responsible for getting WileyPLUS on their own, at a non-discounted price. Do not purchase a PDF or used printed textbook in lieu of WileyPLUS as it will be useless for the purposes of this course. However, if you would also like to have a printed copy of the textbook, you could get a new one through the CCSF Bookstore option or a used one through any channel of your choice — older editions (e.g., 3rd edition) are fine. For course details, students must check the instructor site. For more information about CityOnline, please visit the Welcome to CityOnline.
