Catalog Description
This course introduces students to the field of alcohol and drug counseling and provides an over view of the requirements for the Addiction and Recovery Counseling Certificate. Students will identify necessary skills and potential challenges to succeeding in the field.

This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays from 4:10pm-7pm at Ocean Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 4 weeks.
