Design Thinking for Business

Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation. This course introduces students to the principles, processes, and tools of design thinking, an approach to solving complex problems. Students will explore how to empathize with users, ideate creative solutions, prototype innovations, and test them in real-world contexts. Through hands-on projects and collaborative exercises, students will develop critical skills in innovation, creativity, and user-centered design.

Introduction to accounting information system and recording and reporting of business transactions with a focus on the accounting cycle, terminology, application of basic principles and theories, classified financial statements and statement analysis for decision makers. The course includes balance sheet valuations, revenue/expense recognition, and cash flows.
