Whether your goal is to transition to a career or transfer to pursue a higher degree, your completion at City College of San Francisco is a crucial step in the journey. At City College, we have many resources to support you in completing your degree, certificate and/or successfully transfer to a four-year university.
The Completion Center assists students with the following:
- Assist students with the certificate and degree petition processes; connect and refer students to appropriate resources
- Run the auto-petition process for participating certificate programs, to identify students who have completed the requirement but have not petitioned
- Guide students to navigate the Degree Works system, including their program audit and education plan
- Send early alert messages, such as students who receive substandard midterm grades, and offer support resources for successful completion
- Participate in all Student Success Teams (SST) to make students aware of the various certificates and degrees available in their field, and to assist them with the petition process and completion
- Engage in various technology projects to remove systemic barriers, improve educational planning, and increase student success and completion
- Provide services via email, phone, Zoom virtual counter and in-person drop-ins, as well as by appointment.
