Instructor Bio

I have been teaching in the ESL Department at CCSF since 2000. Before CCSF, I taught English for Academic Purposes at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. I got my MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Bilkent University in the same city, and my BA in English Language and Literature from Hacettepe University. I hold two other graduate degrees: a Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Diploma for Teachers of English and a Certificate for Communicative Teaching of English from Lancaster University in England. I was also a Fulbright Scholar at Northern Arizona University.
