TEACHING APPROACH
My main objective as a professor is to create a student-centered environment that motivates students to immediately apply the skills they gain in my class and experiment with their own approaches. My goal is to actively demonstrate how new technology and tools can be applied to improve artistic outcome and to enhance the talents and skills of students.
In 2019, I acquired my FAA Part 107 certificate to teach a Beginning Drone Piloting and Imaging course, which has been an incredibly popular class with our photography students. It has been a very exciting new endeavor for me and a compliment to my Architectural Photography course which I have been teaching for a number of years. I am also well versed in Canvas and online teaching.
