Real functions and their graphs; one-to-one and inverse functions; polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions; complex numbers and zeros of polynomials; linear systems and matrices; geometric transformations and conic sections; topics in discrete mathematics.
IMPORTANT: This section of 90 is linked to 90S, a support course that offers additional support and an assigned tutor. Both sections (CRNs 36007 and 36008) MUST be added together. This class will be taught in person on the Ocean campus. The instructor for this course is in the process of receiving a CCSF email address. In the meanwhile, students can send email to the Chair of the Mathematics Department if they have questions before the semester begins.
