An in-depth exploration of Photoshop and related tools that will provide students with skills to create expressive images and explore various methods of output. Students will integrate available equipment and resources in preparation for a rapidly changing field.
This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings are Tuesdays 6:10-9pm on the Ocean campus in V165. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using a computer that can run the current version of Photoshop CC. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17.5 weeks. For student support and other services, students can check Welcome to CityOnline. This class is part of the Photography Certificate and AS Degree program and has pre-requisites. To waive the pre-req, visit the CCSF PRE-REQ webpage. Students will have access to software, cameras and inkjet printers and the photography department V165 MAC computer lab.
