An intermediate exploration into the process of creating a news publication. Students work as reporters producing journalistic content and editors focusing on editing content suitable for publication in the campus news publication. They participate in the editorial and production process and develop the skills required for publishing.

This course is responsible for producing the campus newspaper The Guardsman. This course that meets on the Ocean campus in Bungalow 615. Contact the instructor at jagonzal@ccsf.edu prior to the start of the semester for added instructions. This course meets the requirement for an AA degree in journalism and the Certificate of Achievement in Editorial Management & Design. CSU
