Jobs usually arranged by the student, subject to Cinema Department approval. Job experience at CCSF, such as issuing film equipment, mentoring/tutoring cinema students, crewing or editing sound or picture for a local production company, are within the scope of this learning experience of film/video industry or related projects. One unit of credit is earned for 54 hours of unpaid or paid work.
Please contact instructor in advance of enrolling in this course. Student must arrange supervised paid or unpaid work (108 hours) that will be completed between 1/10/25-5/21/25. CINE 170-W01 requires completion of an Orientation, Check-ins and Final meeting with the instructor. This class requires the use of Canvas. Students will complete some coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet-enabled device.
