Catalog Description

Focus on the major turning points that shaped the contemporary world from Post World War One to the global interdependence of today. Topics include the rise of totalitarian governments, the search for stability and peace, and 20th-century cultural trends.

Section Notes

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Monday and Wednesday from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about CityOnline, go to the CityOnline website. This class is taught primarily in Spanish.
