Photography related work experience and further career development in a supervised setting. On campus college work experience in CCSF Photography Department. Resume writing, networking, communication and interview skills. One unit of credit is earned for 54 hours of unpaid or paid work.
This is a class supports work study PHOT students who have applied to work in the PHOT facility as a peer mentor or lab attendant or have proposed photography project that serves the college at large. Students must complete a minimum of 65 hours (paid) or more total in the semester. Students are responsible for applying for the student worker job or consulting with the Dept Chair before registration. Registering for the class does not guarantee employment. To be eligible, F-1 Credit (Academic) students are required to be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 units) or have received previous authorization for a reduced course load (RCL). ahref="https://www.ccsf.edu/paying-college/office-campus-student-employment">Read more about how to apply and eligibility Meetings for the class will be in person and on Zoom.
