Introduction to the materials of the Earth with emphasis on the identification and interpretation of common minerals and rocks, especially those common to California; interpretation of topographic, geologic, and structural maps; and analysis of plate tectonics processes.
This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meeting information (meeting days, times, location) is in the class schedule. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
