Emergency care for one and two-rescuer adult, child, and infant CPR with bag mask ventilation and AED. First aid for the sick and injured including care of life-threatening, medical, environmental, and traumatic emergencies. Standard first aid, CPR, and AED certification(s) granted upon successful completion of requirements.
EMT 14 requires in-person and live online meetings. In-person meetings will take place on Friday, from 9:10am to 5:00pm on 12/6/24 and 12/13/24 at the John Adams Campus. Live online meetings take place on Friday from 9:10am to 5:00pm and requires the use of CityZoom, Zoom's web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. The class will have a 30 minute lunch break. The students account will be charged $25.00 for the cost of the BLS CPR and First Aid ecards. You must pay the fee before the ecards are issued. This class is part of CityOnline and is an 8 week course. For course details, students must check the instructor's website.
