Catalog Description

A survey of some major world religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. An analysis of the origins of these religions as well as their cultural contexts and present-day issues.

Section Notes

HUM 7 section 984 is an online class that requires the use of Canvas. All coursework is completed on Canvas using an internet enabled device. A world religions class designed equally for students with faith as for those with a skeptical point of view. This class is part of CityOnline and is 8 weeks on the Flex 2 schedule (second half of the semester) with mandatory Zoom meetings every Tuesday from 10:10 am to 12:25 pm. The course depends on students attending the meetings; please do not register for it if your schedule doesn't allow for you to attend.
