Join The Project SURVIVE Community
The Project SURVIVE community includes:
- Current and past Project SURVIVE peer educators
- Students enrolled in WGST 54 and/or WGST 55, or who have successfully completed WGST 54 and/or 55
- Students working toward the Sexual Health Educator Certificate (SHEC)
- Project SURVIVE student mentors and mentees
- Students who have declared a Women’s and Gender Studies Major or who are enrolled in a Women’s and Gender Studies Class
- Members of the Project SURVIVE student club
Project SURVIVE Community members receive additional support such as:
- A dedicated academic counselor
- Information about financial aid, AB540, and scholarships
- A student mentor
- Workshops geared toward personal growth and building community
- A customized education plan that helps you meet your academic and life goals
Through the Project SURVIVE community, you can also:
- Gain experience as a paid peer educator
- Prepare for a career in the field of sexual health education and abuse prevention
- Earn the Sexual Health Educator certificate
- Intern at a community-based organization
