Catalog Description

This high school course is a general introduction to physical science and scientific methodology. It covers the basics of physics, chemistry, and astronomy to prepare students for future science classes. Basic math will be used to illustrate some of the basic scientific principles.

Section Notes

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays from 1:15 pm - 3:00 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about CityOnline, go to the CityOnline website.
